    THE ROLE You are the kitchen side of the operation and during service, you are working to order. That means executing prep lists before and between rushes, then fulfilling food orders quickly and consistently when the floor gets busy. Cold and some hot preparations, assembly, portioning — all done to a high standard, at pace, without cutting corners. We’re looking for an individual with a minimum of 2 years culinary experience, who’s worked in cafe’s, bars, restaurants, creating and assembling dishes made to order and who has attention to quality control and execution. SHIFTS AVAILABLE Sun - Friday (PM shift): 4pm to 10pm or 11pm (Depending on day). WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR • Experience in a kitchen, whether at a cafe, wine bar, or restaurant, you know what it means to work to order under pressure and execute great looking dishes., • Comfortable working solo, in a small kitchen, self managing themselves to complete prep tasks required and fulfil customer orders as they come in., • Fast and consistent without sacrificing quality, you hold yourself to a standard even when it is busy, • Calm under pressure and communicative with the team, • Detail-oriented with storage, rotation, and labelling and working to high food safety standards., • NYC Food Handler Certification (or willing to obtain before start date) COMPENSATION & DETAILS Pay: $20/hr Tip pool: Line & Prep Cook roles are not tip-pool eligible — your hourly rate is your take-home Start date: Immediately
