This role requires strong phlebotomy skills—including pediatric and geriatric draws—and the ability to manage both clinical and forensic collections in a fast-paced environment. The PSR II ensures compliance with company policies, processing standards, and confidentiality requirements while maintaining a positive, patient-focused atmosphere.Key Responsibilities, • Perform venipuncture, capillary, forensic, and clinical specimen collection following established procedures., • Verify patient demographics, initials, and signatures to ensure correct labeling and documentation., • Maintain a safe and professional environment, ensuring compliance with dress code, health, and safety policies., • Complete required records, logs, and documentation accurately and timely., • Demonstrate organizational commitment and excellence in patient service., • Work independently with minimal supervision in a high-volume setting., • Support multiple locations as needed; maintain reliable transportation., • Communicate openly with patients, peers, and supervisors, ensuring transparency and teamwork., • Assist in training activities as needed; training location may vary.Required Experience, • Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections., • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred., • Customer service experience in a retail or service setting preferred., • Keyboard/data entry experience required.Required Education, • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred., • Phlebotomy certification preferred., • Required only in CA, NV, and WA (not required in NJ).Required Skills, • Strong phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections., • Ability to produce error-free work in a fast-paced environment., • Strong decision-making and judgment within established procedures., • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities., • Willingness to work holidays, weekends, on-call, and overtime as needed.Preferred Skills, • Superior customer service and patient interactions., • Ability to embrace change and adapt to evolving workflows., • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Additional Skills from Original Description, • Ability to cover multiple sites with minimal notice, • Understanding of company business operations, • Maintaining accurate documentation and recordkeeping, • Supporting both doctor’s offices and patient service centersBenefits, • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans We are a Native American-owned, economically disadvantaged corporation that highly values diverse and inclusive workplaces.
