Job Description: As a Server, you will play a critical role in creating an unforgettable dining experience. You’ll be responsible for managing guest interactions, providing detailed knowledge of our menu, and ensuring that every guest receives top-quality service. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience. Offer detailed menu knowledge, including food preparation, ingredients, and wine pairings. Accurately take orders and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner. Address any guest concerns and ensure overall satisfaction. Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Server in a fine dining setting. Strong knowledge of food, wine, and excellent customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Receives and has custody of all funds of the fire district; Deposits all incoming funds in the manner prescribed by New York State law; Disburses funds for the purposes authorized by the Board of Fire Commissioners; Facilitate the annual external audit in accordance with Town Law; Prepare employee payroll, including withholding and necessary reporting; Regular reporting to the NYS Local Retirement System; Prepare IRS forms: W-2, and W-3 for employees, and 1099 for appropriate vendors; Make appropriate journal entries to the general ledger regularly; Keeps fire district accounts and all substantiating records and materials, such as receipts, orders, vouchers, canceled checks, etc.; Manage the district’s fund balance; Annual budget preparation; Ensure sufficient operating funds are available at all times; Prepare claims and vouchers for audit and approval by the Board of Fire Commissioners; Present monthly financial report to the Board of Fire Commissioners, including budget over and under; Submit annual financial statement to the NYS Comptroller’s Office; Presents total accounting of monies received and disbursed to the Board of Fire Commissioners to reconcile; bank statements monthly and at any other time the Board may prescribe; Attend monthly Commissioner meetings, attendance at additional meetings throughout the year is also required; Additional duties are performed at the direction of the Board of Fire Commissioners.
