Collaborate with the Housing Coordinators to ensure clients are compliant in seeking permanent housing. · Attend shelter meetings, agency-wide meetings, and staff training (onsite and offsite) as directed by the supervisor. · Must work evenings, one Saturday each month, and holidays as scheduled. · Prepare all mandated reporting as the supervisor, contract, and funding agencies require. · Conduct weekly client unit inspections and review findings with the client and supervisor. · Perform other related duties as needed. Essential Functions · Must be able to ascend/descend stairs in the assigned building. · Must escort clients to appointments as needed, including apartment viewings. Qualification · Must be committed to H.O.G.A.R.'s mission, vision, and values. · Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is required. · One (1) year of social service experience or approved equivalent. · Familiarities with E.B.P., such as strength-based case management, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, critical time intervention, boundary setting, and cultural reflexivity preferred. · Familiarity with entitlement systems and procedures is preferred. · Experience with standardized assessment tools preferred. · Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are preferred. · Ability to work effectively in a team environment. · Computer skills and knowledge of CARES are a plus. · Bilingual – English/Spanish proficiency a plus.
