Claims Administrative Assistant (Uniondale, NY) HYBRID PURPOSE: Gramercy Risk Management is seeking a Claims Administrative Assistant to join our expanding company. The position will be responsible for supporting services for the claims and litigation teams. We are in search of a candidate to be full-time with prior insurance industry experience. Currently, we look to fill the position in our main office, with some remote capability (3 days in office, 2 WFH). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Assure the prompt reporting & inputting of electronic data, • Answering phone calls and emails to provide status updates, explain procedures, and/or answer questions., • Creating, updating, and documenting claim files, as well as entering new loss information into Claims System., • Assisting adjusters with administrative tasks, scheduling, and office mail management., • Reviewing claim forms for accuracy, completeness, and requesting additional information when needed., • Assisting Claims Examiners with verifying policy coverage, and processing payments for claims.
