We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Barback who plays a critical support role in ensuring the bar operates efficiently, smoothly, and at a high standard of service. This position is responsible for keeping the bar fully stocked, clean, and organized so bartenders can focus on delivering excellent guest experiences. A successful Barback is proactive, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities Bar Operations & Support • Stock and restock liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, ice, glassware, and bar supplies throughout service., • Maintain par levels and notify bartenders or managers when inventory is low., • Assist bartenders during peak service to ensure fast and efficient drink service., • Keep bar stations, storage areas, and walk-ins clean, organized, and sanitary., • Remove trash, recyclables, and empty kegs or bottles promptly., • Wash, polish, and restock glassware., • Receive, check, and properly store bar deliveries., • Rotate stock using FIFO (first-in, first-out) standards., • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, and alcohol-service regulations in compliance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations., • Report safety hazards, equipment issues, spills, broken glass, unsafe conditions or sanitation concerns promptly., • Communicate clearly with bartenders and managers during service, • Anticipate needs and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment, • 1–2 years of experience as a Barback or in a high-volume bar or restaurant preferred, • Knowledge of bar operations, beer, wine, and liquor basics a plus, • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized under pressure, • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness, • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. (kegs, cases, ice, etc.), • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move quickly for extended periods, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes loud environment, • Reliable, punctual, and dependable, • Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude Schedule: Full Time, On-Site Base salary: $30.00- 35.00/hour Benefits: PTO, 401K, Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, Transit, and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) Must be able to provide valid documentation that you are legally eligible to work in the United States.
