Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Dialysis, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 01/05/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 34.5 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Employment Type: Local Contract Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Hemodialysis Registered Nurse to provide high-quality dialysis care to patients with chronic and acute renal conditions. The ideal candidate is confident in independently managing dialysis treatments, patient assessments, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities • Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis treatments in accordance with facility policies and clinical guidelines., • Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis sessions., • Initiate, monitor, and discontinue dialysis treatments; troubleshoot equipment and access issues., • Manage and document patient responses, vital signs, complications, and interventions., • Administer medications as prescribed, including heparin and other dialysis-related drugs., • Provide patient education on kidney health, dialysis processes, vascular access care, and treatment plans., • Collaborate with nephrologists, technicians, dietitians, and social workers to optimize patient outcomes., • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and adhere to infection control and safety standards., • Respond to emergencies and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.Qualifications, • Active RN license in the state of New York (NY)., • Minimum 2 years of Hemodialysis experience (acute or chronic)., • Med-Surg nursing background is highly preferred., • Current BLS (required); ACLS preferred., • Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
