Job Description Job Title: Working Lead Mechanical/Electromechanical Technician Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (6am-4:30pm) Pay: $34/hr Contract 6+ months, expected to be an indefinite contract (outsource their maintence to Aerotek Services) The IFCO facility is located in Mcdonough, GA Job Description The Working Lead Mechanical/Electromechanical Technician is responsible for advanced maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of mechanical and electromechanical equipment. This position requires expertise in test equipment, mechanical and electrical drawing usage to access and troubleshoot equipment. It offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in the electromechanical maintenance field, as well as leadership training. Responsibilities • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electromechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity., • Conduct detailed inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure., • Utilize automated CMMS to document maintenance items and schedule future items., • Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electromechanical malfunctions., • Repair or replace defective components, including motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems., • Utilize GUI/HMI components to assist in troubleshooting and correction of system issues., • Lead the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery, following technical specifications and engineering drawings., • Calibrate and test equipment to ensure proper operation and performance., • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment., • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities., • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including detailed reports on inspections, repairs, and parts usage., • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve equipment reliability and performance., • Work with CMMS to produce reports that assist in the maintenance production and operational schedules and execution., • Assist in training and mentoring Level 1 technicians and new team members., • Troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems., • Proficiency with hand and power tools., • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience., • Some previous experience leading or supervising others in a maintenance capacity., • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills., • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings., • High school diploma or GED equivalent., • Certification or associate degree in mechanical or electromechanical technology is preferred., • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role. The shift for this role is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with initial training for at least one week on a day shift from Monday to Friday. The facility is located in Mcdonough, GA, which is 45 minutes southeast of Atlanta. The work environment includes varying conditions such as heights, confined spaces, and outdoor settings. Employees must be comfortable lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and willing to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed. Why Work Here?
