Maintenance Technician (Handyman) We’re seeking a field-based Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to support our offices across multiple locations. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and operating efficiently. You’ll handle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks — from fixing minor plumbing issues to touching up paint — keeping every Diamond Braces location in excellent condition. Essential Functions: • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across multiple Diamond Braces offices (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.), • Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues promptly to minimize downtime, • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns, • Assemble, install, or relocate furniture, fixtures, and small equipment, • Coordinate and oversee outside vendors or contractors for specialized repairs, • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, materials used, and completed work, • Ensure all work complies with safety, building, and health regulations, • Travel daily to various Diamond Braces locations as assigned.Qualifications:, • 4+ years of experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or facilities support, • Strong working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, • Ability to safely use hand and power tools, • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, • Flexibility to travel between multiple locations within the region, • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently, • Background in healthcare, dental, or multi-site facilities maintenance preferred, • Basic HVAC or appliance repair knowledge a plus, • Experience with work order tracking or maintenance scheduling systems, • Must be proficient in English (Spanish & Russian a plus)., • Proficient in standard office software & applications., • Strong computer and digital literacy skills., • Strong communication skills a must.
