Job Description Job title: Bookkeeper - Payroll Analyst Reports to: Chief Financial Officer FLSA Status: Non-Exempt / Full Time Date Issued: December 2025 We’re looking for a Payroll Analyst who is detail-oriented and eager to make an impact. In this role, you’ll help ensure every employee is paid accurately and on time. You’ll support the day-to-day flow of payroll information, electronic timesheets, and work closely with HR and Finance, to keep our payroll cycle running smoothly. You’ll bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with experience using ADP Workforce Now. You’ll take ownership of payroll accuracy and process, resolve issues, and help us work efficiently. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development • Lead, coach, and mentor Area Managers and General Managers to drive engagement, accountability, and operational excellence., • Build and sustain a culture of trust, inclusion, and high performance that aligns with NAYA’s core values., • Partner with People + Culture and Operations leadership to recruit, develop, and retain top talent at all levels of restaurant management., • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring consistent execution of company standards, food quality, and guest experience., • Develop, implement, and refine systems and processes that enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability., • Maintain compliance with all food safety, labor, and operational regulations., • Manage restaurant-level P&L performance to achieve or exceed sales, profitability, and cost control targets., • Analyze key performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and solutions that drive sustainable business results., • Collaborate with the Finance team to plan, forecast, and execute annual budgets., • Champion a people-first culture that celebrates diversity, teamwork, and professional growth., • Model and reinforce company mission, values, and leadership behaviors at all levels of the organization., • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace where employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to perform their best., • Experienced Leader: 8+ years of progressive, multi-unit restaurant leadership experience across multiple states or markets. A minimum of 3 years of leading fast casual restaurants., • Business-Savvy Operator: Proven track record of managing complex P&Ls, achieving financial targets, and driving operational results., • People-Centered: Passionate about developing others, creating strong teams, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture., • Strategic Thinker: Skilled in balancing long-term vision with short-term execution; adept at leading through growth and change., • Excellent Communicator: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire others., • Analytical & Organized: Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions., • Adaptable & Driven: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment; flexible to meet the needs of a dynamic business., • Educated & Equipped: Bachelor’s degree or higher; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and restaurant management systems., • Committed & Reliable: Willingness to work varied hours (including nights, weekends, and holidays) and travel as needed.
