Job Description BronxWorks helps individuals and families improve their economic and social well-being. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage a full caseload for a diverse client population, • Conduct intakes and assessment and input information in database (provided by funder) and Salesforce, • Provide clients with internal and external referrals as needed, • Perform client advocacy and follow-ups services, • Document client progress and all interactions with or on behalf of clients in the database, • Complete training needed to facilitate information to targeted communities (catchment areas in provided Community Districts; BX 1, 2,3,6,4,5,7,9, and 11), • Participate in community outreach events as scheduled, • Bachelor’s Degree/HS/GED with 1 year experience processing childcare vouchers, • Bilingual both verbal and written preferred, • Proficiency in modern business communications including personal computers, electronic mail, voicemail, and copier equipment, • Proficiency in virtual platforms is preferred, • Develop a customized service plan with clients, outlining action steps and responsibilities., • Assist the client with obtaining necessary documentation to recertify their existing ACS Childcare voucher. This includes catchment areas in the following community districts in the Bronx (catchment areas; BX 1, 2,3,6,4,5,7,9, and 11), • Conduct follows ups to families (using multiple sources such as text, email, phone or in person (if required) to ensure they can sustain their childcare benefit., • Maintain up to date case files and database entries, as well as regular contact with clients via office visits, telephone contact and home visits., • Coordinate client referrals for other needed services, • Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods., • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds., • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time., • Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents., • Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation., • Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work.
