At Organized Human LLC, we are a tight-knit crew of fearless professionals who tackle challenges others wont touch, and we do it with skill, confidence, and impact in mind. Our work is demanding, hands-on, and deeply rewarding. Thats why we invest in every team member's growth with in-person performance reviews, monthly evaluations, and weekly check-ins. We dont just expect excellence, we live it, and we raise the bar every single day. We only consider candidates who are passionate, aligned with our mission, and ready to thrive in a culture where vision, grit, and heart matter most. This is a physical, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. Youll lift, sort, clean, install, haul, label, build, and organizeworking alongside a driven team thats committed to doing meaningful work and making real, visible change. Schedule Crew members will typically work Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM- 40 hours each week. Crew members are occasionally scheduled to work on Saturdays and during evening hours during the week to accommodate certain clients, but this is uncommon. All crew members are required to report on-site by 7:45 AM/fifteen minutes before start time. This time allows crew members to obtain security clearance (presenting valid ID, signing the security visitor logbook, and possibly passing through metal detectors) before entering the building, as this is required at every site we work at. Site Environments We travel across the five boroughs every week, visiting a new location each week. Working strictly for institutions within NYC's Department of Education, we take great reverence in our positions and our work- always remaining clean, respectful, and conscious of our surroundings. Being that no two schools are the same, we come prepared for anything. Sometimes our projects are in clean offices and book rooms, while others are in basements, attics, and closets that require personal protective equipment (provided by leadership to crew members) to keep us safe on the job. Job sites often come with dirt, dust, and varying temperatures. Physical Requirements While some projects, such as our file-sorting jobs, are more reliant on our analytical skills, others are more labor-intensive. Not every school has an elevator, which sometimes requires us to haul trash, lift furniture, and traverse several flights of stairs to get a job done. Each crew member is required to lift at least 25lbs on their own and in collaboration with other crew members, and to do so repeatedly. This role does not often allow sitting while working, as most of our projects require us to be on our feet all day. Good physical health is a requirement for this role to be sustainable in the long term. If expectations are met and the fit is mutual upon completion of the 30-60-90 IDP, leadership will propose a new IDP for the remaining 3 months of the probationary period. This plan is designed to fast-track high performers toward becoming a specialist or lead on the team. The 120-150-180 IDP will be crafted using data from previous performance reviews and evaluations to outline a higher-responsibility, skill-focused trajectory aligned with ones individual strengths. Accepting the 120-150-180 IDP increases compensation to $26/hr for the remainder of the probationary period. Upon successful completion of the 120-150-180 IDP and 6-month probationary period, team members who demonstrate strong performance and commitment to growing with Organized Human will be promoted from OOA to their specialized title. This promotion transitions the role from full-time hourly compensation at $26/hr to full-time salaried compensation equivalent to $28/hr for a 40-hour workweek (approx. $58,240 annually), with cash bonuses, increased responsibility, and long-term growth within the company.
