About the Role We're seeking Master's-level professionals who feel confident facilitating Substance Use Disorder groups, collaborating closely with therapists, and thriving in a part-time, fully remote telehealth environment. Clinicians at Charlie Health begin making a difference on day one, working alongside a highly skilled therapy team to translate psychoeducation into meaningful, real-world change for clients. While each team member brings unique strengths and experience, all staff are expected to be fluent across multiple modalities. Our clients face complex behavioral and emotional challenges, and we're looking for group facilitators who are deeply aligned with Charlie Health's mission to provide life-saving mental health treatment. Responsibilities • Complete all Onboarding requirements within 2 weeks of start date, • Check-in with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director at a minimum of 1x/month, • Respond to all email and Slack communication promptly (within 48 hours), • Review the curriculum aligned to group assignment prior to group start time, • Arrive ~10 minutes early to scheduled group time and facilitate all groups for the entirety of the hour, • Facilitate groups using the current Charlie Health curriculum and best practices, • Facilitate groups across age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing and Wellness Hour as needed, • Foster client engagement and group cohesion, encouraging client participation and fostering camera-on culture, • Following all operational policies and procedures as indicated by Charlie Health best practices, • Participate in collaborative Therapy Treatment Team (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers and other Clinical Leadership team members, • Collaborate closely with Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists and Care Coaches, • Communicate professionally and promptly with all clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents, • Monitor your treatment documentation to ensure all of your notes are completed within required 24 hour timeframe and meet agency and professional standards per DHCS and The Joint Commission standards, • Demonstrate professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality, • Candidates must have one of the following certifications:, • CADC‑I, CADC‑II, CADC‑III (CA Specific), • CATC I, II, III, IV, V (CA Specific), • SUD‑CC (CA Specific), • RAS, RAS‑i, MATS (National), • APCC (CA MH Licensure), • ASW (CA MH Licensure), • AMFT (CA MH Licensure), • LCSW (CA MH Licensure), • LPCC (CA MH Licensure), • LMFT (CA MH Licensure), • Candidate must live outside of California, • Availability to work 3 weeknights between M-TH, total of 9 hours (Groups are run 3-9pm MT on Monday to Thursday), • Master's degree in mental health or related field (see examples below), • Experience working with diverse age demographics in intensive treatment settings, • Demonstrated proficiency across multiple treatment modalities, with the confidence to thoughtfully integrate them into clinical practice (e.g., DBT, CBT, EMDR; MI certification a plus), • Strong belief in and advocacy for group-based treatment alongside individual therapy, • Ability to facilitate effective, engaging telehealth sessions, • Reliable high-speed internet connection for client sessions, • Proficiency with cloud-based communication software (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox) as well as EMR and outcomes survey software, • Master of Science (M.S.) in Mental Health Counseling, • Master of Social Work (M.S.W.), • Master of Arts (M.A.) in Marriage and Family Therapy, • Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology Charlie Health is pleased to offer comprehensive benefits to all full-time, exempt employees. Things you get to do: • Lead annual tax reporting cycles, including timely and accurate production of Composite 1099 statements and Forms 1042-S, • Execute and oversee withholding agent responsibilities under Chapter 3, Chapter 4 (FATCA), and backup withholding, • Prepare, file, and reconcile Forms 1042 and 945, including timely tax deposits and reconciliation of reported amounts, • Ensure compliant setup and execution of tax reporting and withholding for complex ownership structures, including: Qualified Intermediaries, Non-Qualified intermediaries, fully disclosed and omnibus arrangements, • Serve as an internal SME on beneficial owner determination, withholding rates, and reporting responsibility, • Review and operationalize W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, and W-8IMY documentation, including withholding statements and income allocation, • Manage Alpaca's tax reporting vendor, FIS, relationship, including data quality, error and warning remediation, delivery timelines, and process improvements, • Coordinate and respond to tax-related audits, examinations, and IRS notices (e.g., CP2100), • Act as a backup to the Senior Manager, ensuring continuity of tax reporting and cost basis operations, • Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance on tax reporting requirements, system enhancements, and program scalability Who you are (Must Haves): • 3+ years of hands-on tax reporting and/or cost basis experience at a securities broker-dealer, • Direct experience with Composite 1099 statements and Forms 1042-S production, • Working knowledge of Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 withholding and reporting requirements, • Working knowledge of Form W-8IMY analysis and application, such as Qualified Intermediaries, Non-Qualified intermediaries and both fully disclosed and omnibus arrangements, • Experience acting as or supporting a withholding agent, • Series 7 registration (or ability to obtain), • Strong understanding of IRS regulations covering securities products (equities, options, fixed income), • Exceptional attention to detail with strong documentation and reconciliation skills, • Comfortable operating in evolving environments where processes are still being built, • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and deadlines, • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, • Experience supporting a global or cross-border customer base, • Familiarity with Chapter 3, Chapter 4, and FATCA classifications, withholding statements, and complex ownership structures, • Exposure to digital asset tax reporting and emerging regulatory requirements, • Process and automation-oriented mindset, • Ability to retain, structure, and document institutional knowledge, • Foundational technical fluency (APIs, data models, system integrations) to partner effectively with Engineering and Product, • Previous experience working with FIS (formerly Wall Street Concepts) Tax Reporting ManagerHow We Take Care of You:, • Competitive Salary & Stock Options, • Health Benefits, • New Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500 Recruitment Privacy Policy
