Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,0000 / Yearly \n \n About Maure \n \n Maure is a New York-based gifting brand founded by chef Maureen Cavalieri. We sell curated gift boxes and sets alongside several hundred individual pieces across kitchen and dining, home decor, fragrance, and office. \n \n Some products are designed and produced under our own label with specialist manufacturers in Europe, while others are sourced from makers and artisans around the world. Customers can purchase a ready-made gift box, build their own, or shop individual pieces. \n \n We sell directly to customers through our own website and wholesale to retailers through Faire. \n \n We are a small team, which means the work is broad, visible, and moves quickly. \n \n The Role \n \n We are looking for an E-commerce Coordinator to help manage and grow Maure's online store, with a particular focus on Shopify merchandising, email marketing, product presentation, and digital creative production. \n \n This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the intersection of e-commerce and creative work. You will spend part of your day working inside Shopify and Klaviyo and part of your day creating the visual and written content that brings our products and campaigns to life. \n \n You will work closely with the founder and operations team on product launches, seasonal campaigns, merchandising, email, and website updates. \n \n The ideal candidate is organized, visually minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking a project from a general direction through execution. You should be someone who notices when a product page needs attention, recognizes when an image isn't working, and can figure out how to improve it. \n \n This is an in-person position based in New York. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n \n Shopify & E-commerce \n\n • Manage day-to-day updates to the Maure Shopify store\n, • Add and maintain products, SKUs, pricing, collections, descriptions, and product content\n, • Build and update collection pages, landing pages, homepage content, and promotional placements\n, • Prepare new products for launch, ensuring product information, imagery, pricing, and merchandising are accurate and complete\n, • Maintain accurate product information across the site\n, • Monitor inventory and product availability and adjust merchandising accordingly\n, • Prioritize seasonal, promotional, and best-selling products throughout the site\n, • Identify opportunities to improve product presentation, collection organization, navigation, and the overall shopping experience\n, • Maintain and organize the product image library\n, • Identify gaps in product imagery and create or coordinate the visual content needed to address them\n, • Conduct regular site checks to identify errors, outdated content, broken links, or other issues\n\n \n Email Marketing \n\n • Create and send approximately 2 Klaviyo campaigns per week\n, • Develop email concepts, copy, layouts, imagery, and calls to action\n, • Build and QA email campaigns before they are sent\n, • Coordinate email content with product launches, promotions, seasonal moments, and inventory priorities\n, • Maintain the email marketing calendar\n, • Review campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve future campaigns\n, • Ensure email content is accurate, proofread, on-brand, and ready to send\n\n \n Creative & Visual Production \n\n • Create original visual assets for the website, email, campaigns, and editorial content\n, • Develop product compositions, styled lifestyle imagery, seasonal campaign visuals, gift guides, and editorial imagery\n, • Take creative concepts from initial direction through final, publish-ready asset\n, • Adapt, edit, and retouch existing photography and visual assets\n, • Create assets in the appropriate formats and dimensions for Shopify and Klaviyo\n, • Maintain a consistent visual identity across the website and other customer-facing digital channels\n, • Work efficiently with existing product photography and brand assets to create new materials\n, • Stay current with evolving creative tools and techniques and identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of content production\n\n \n Editorial & Product Content \n\n • Create 1–2 gift guides per month\n, • Create 2–3 Maure Journal articles per month\n, • Write and edit product descriptions, promotional copy, collection copy, and other website content as needed\n, • Develop supporting content for product launches and seasonal campaigns\n, • Ensure all customer-facing copy is clear, accurate, grammatically correct, and consistent with the Maure brand voice\n, • Repurpose existing product and campaign assets where appropriate\n\n \n Campaign & Merchandising Support \n\n • Maintain a content and merchandising calendar across Shopify, Klaviyo, and editorial initiatives\n, • Coordinate website and email updates around product launches, promotions, holidays, and seasonal campaigns\n, • Assist in developing campaign concepts and translating them into cohesive website, email, and visual assets\n, • Work directly with the founder on seasonal creative direction and campaign planning\n, • Manage assigned projects from initial direction through creation, approval, scheduling, and publication\n, • Proactively identify upcoming content and merchandising needs\n, • Help ensure campaigns and recurring e-commerce initiatives are completed accurately and on schedule\n\n \n Performance & Optimization \n\n • Monitor website and email performance using Shopify and Klaviyo\n, • Track campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement\n, • Review product and merchandising performance and flag opportunities to the team\n, • Test different creative approaches, messaging, products, and formats\n, • Use performance data and customer behavior to inform future merchandising and email decisions\n, • Bring recommendations to the founder based on what is working and what could be improved\n\n \n Qualifications \n\n • 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, e-commerce marketing, or a related role\n, • Hands-on experience with Shopify\n, • Experience with Klaviyo or another comparable email marketing platform\n, • Proficiency with Canva and Photoshop or comparable creative tools\n, • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality visual assets independently\n, • Portfolio required showing work you personally created, particularly e-commerce, email, product, editorial, or brand work\n, • Strong visual judgment and an understanding of composition, typography, imagery, and brand consistency\n, • Excellent writing and editing skills\n, • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines\n, • Strong attention to detail, particularly around product information, imagery, copy, and website presentation\n, • Comfortable working independently and taking a project from direction to completion\n, • Comfortable receiving feedback, making revisions, and moving quickly through iterations\n, • Comfortable learning new platforms and creative tools quickly\n, • Experience working with a consumer brand, small business, or lean creative team is a plus\n, • Experience with Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, or similar e-commerce reporting tools is a plus\n\n \n What We're Looking For \n \n We are looking for someone who can see a product, understand how it should be presented, and turn that into a strong online shopping experience. \n \n You should be comfortable moving between e-commerce and creative work throughout the day. One morning might involve uploading a new collection and merchandising the homepage; the afternoon might involve building that week's Klaviyo campaign and creating the imagery to support it. \n \n This is not a purely administrative e-commerce role. At the same time, it is not a social media or traditional marketing role. \n \n The strongest candidate will have a genuine interest in e-commerce, products, visual presentation, and the customer experience. \n \n You do not need to know every tool when you walk through the door. You do need to be curious, resourceful, visually driven, highly organized, and willing to figure things out. \n \n Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, notices the details, and contributes ideas rather than simply waiting for instructions. \n \n Why Join Maure \n \n Maure is a small, growing brand where your work has a direct and visible impact. You will work closely with the founder and have the opportunity to contribute to how our products are presented, how campaigns come together, and how customers experience the brand online. \n \n Because we are a lean team, you will have exposure to many sides of the business and the opportunity to develop a broad skill set across e-commerce, merchandising, creative production, email, and content. \n \n This is an opportunity for someone early in their career to take meaningful ownership of a growing e-commerce business while working closely with its founder and product.
