ROLE OVERVIEW The Marketing Director at Long Cove serves as the senior-most marketing leader within the organization, responsible for setting strategy and executing all marketing efforts across the Long Cove brand and its affiliated brands, including Old Mine Club. Reporting directly to the Founder, this role owns the full marketing ecosystem from brand and community experience to lead generation and revenue-driving initiatives. This individual operates as both a strategic leader and a hands-on executor, overseeing all aspects of marketing performance, creative direction, and brand integrity. The role requires a highly disciplined operator who can seamlessly move between high-level planning and detailed execution while managing internal stakeholders, external partners, and a growing marketing infrastructure. The Marketing Director plays a critical role in shaping how Long Cove is experienced by both current homeowners and prospective buyers, ensuring a cohesive, elevated, and performance-driven approach across every touchpoint. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing Strategy & Performance Management • Develop and lead the comprehensive marketing strategy across brand, digital, and experiential channels to drive qualified leads, sales velocity, and long-term brand equity., • Own the full marketing budget, including planning, allocation, optimization, and reporting on performance across all channels., • Establish and track key performance indicators across lead generation, conversion, campaign performance, and brand engagement., • Continuously evaluate and refine marketing tactics to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and return on investment., • Serve as the steward of the Long Cove and Old Mine Club brands, ensuring consistency, clarity, and elevation across all channels and materials., • Lead the development and execution of brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and visual identity standards., • Oversee all creative output, including photography, videography, graphic design, signage, merchandise, and collateral., • Direct and manage external creative partners, including agencies, designers, and production teams, to ensure high-quality and on-brand deliverables., • Oversee all homeowner-facing marketing efforts, including community communications, event promotion, and on-property brand experience., • Lead the development of weekly and monthly communications that inform, engage, and elevate the homeowner experience., • Manage all community-facing channels including social media, mobile app content, signage, and printed materials., • Ensure that every touchpoint within the community reflects a cohesive and thoughtful brand experience., • Own the strategy, development, and ongoing optimization of Long Cove’s digital platforms, including website, mobile app, and social channels., • Oversee content creation and distribution across all digital channels, ensuring consistency in voice, quality, and performance., • Manage the full lifecycle of content capture, including planning, production, and deployment of photography and video assets., • Ensure digital platforms are optimized for both user experience and lead conversion., • Lead all outbound marketing efforts, including paid search, digital advertising, print media, sponsorships, partnerships, and live activations., • Develop and execute a comprehensive media plan that targets key audiences and drives qualified traffic and leads., • Oversee campaign planning, creative development, media buying, and performance analysis across all channels., • Identify and manage strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that align with the brand and expand reach., • Oversee the strategy and execution of CRM-driven marketing, including email campaigns, lead nurturing, and audience segmentation., • Ensure seamless integration between marketing efforts and the sales pipeline to support lead conversion and follow-up., • Develop systems for tracking and improving customer journey performance from initial interest through purchase., • Oversee the marketing strategy for all community and prospect-facing events, ensuring alignment with brand standards and sales goals., • Directly manage the Event Manager, providing guidance on programming, promotion, and execution., • Ensure events serve as both a brand-building and lead-generation tool., • Manage and mentor direct report(s), including the Event Manager, while providing oversight and direction to Sales and Marketing Coordinators., • Serve as the primary marketing partner to the sales team, ensuring alignment on messaging, lead flow, and conversion strategies., • Act as the central point of coordination for all external marketing partners, including creative agencies, PR firms, and production vendors., • Foster a high-performance, detail-oriented culture that prioritizes accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence. REQUIRED PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required., • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on brand management, digital marketing, and performance-driven strategy., • Experience in luxury real estate, hospitality, golf, or lifestyle-driven brands strongly preferred., • Proven ability to own and manage a full marketing budget, including planning, execution, and performance analysis., • Demonstrated success in driving lead generation and supporting sales through integrated marketing efforts., • Experience managing agencies and external partners across creative, media, and PR disciplines., • Strong understanding of CRM systems and lifecycle marketing strategies., • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously at a high level of detail., • Highly collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally while also operating independently., • Hands-on, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
