GOVERNANCE The Head of School will report to BSA’s CEO and Board of Trustees. The Board and CEO establish policy for BSA in accordance with its by-laws and consistent with the terms of its charter. THE POSITION The Head of School will administer the 9th-12th grade curriculum and will be responsible for promoting the mission of the school as well as overseeing the daily operations in partnership with staff. They will be responsible for oversight and development of all academic programs and curricula; the faculty and staff hiring; professional development, compensation, and all other personnel matters; and student recruitment, enrollment, attendance, and discipline. This includes programming, data sharing and analysis, and cultural alignment., • Skillfully build and manage the budget, which is approximately $6 million, and oversee daily operations of the school, including safety, student support, behavior management, and finances., • Work with the CEO to externally message BSA via social media and traditional media platforms. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will have prior experience in school leadership – as a head of school, principal, or division head at a charter, traditional public, or independent school – and teaching experience. The Head of School should possess a strong understanding of the use of academic data to inform and improve student outcomes and an awareness of developments in the broad worlds of education and pedagogy. An ideal candidate will also have a track record of achieving significant school improvement and in working with and leading student and community populations similar to that of BSA. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The focus of this Staff Attorney position will be representing families with children with disabilities in administrative proceedings in order to obtain services that are the difference maker in a child's future. The day-to-day responsibilities of this position include conducting intake, reviewing school records and psychological evaluations, engaging with and advocating before school staff, and exploring schools and services that may serve as potential remedies. The Staff Attorney will draft and file due process complaints that culminate in special education hearings, where the attorney will present and argue the student's case through evidence and witness testimony, and any legal briefing required to prevail. Job Description Title of Position: Clinical Director (LCSW or LMHC) FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Transitional Housing Reports to: Program Director Positions reporting to this position: Client Care Coordinators and Case Managers Salary: Up to $90,000 per year Purpose of the Position The Clinical Director is responsible for the programmatic service delivery in partnership with the Program Director, with emphasis on Behavioral Health Services. Responsibilities include implementation of new program design to bring intensive clinical services into program plan for clients. Other responsibilities include evaluation, reporting, supervision of clinical and social service staff. The Clinical Director uses Evidenced Based Practice (EBP), treatment plans, case management, crisis intervention, and discharge plans to assist the Social Services team with person centered planning for all Win clients.
