    About the Role The Head Maître d’ owns NORTE’s reservation book and leads the guest experience from the first request for a table through the end of the visit. This role combines commercial judgment, precise dining room management, and highly personal hospitality. Working closely with the General Manager, the Head Maître d’ builds demand, develops regular guests, and ensures the room feels exceptional every night. In preparation for our upcoming opening, this position requires participation in a mandatory training program. Key Responsibilities Strategic Floor & Reservation Management • Own table inventory, availability, seating plans, pacing, and turn times., • Manage cancellations, waitlists, last-minute requests, and walk-ins to make effective use of every service., • Protect the guest experience while making sound decisions about covers and revenue., • Balance regulars, first-time guests, VIPs, celebrations, and walk-ins throughout the room. Guest Relations • Recognize guests, anticipate preferences, and turn first visits into lasting relationships., • Maintain accurate guest profiles and visit history in Loyalist., • Build genuine relationships with regulars, concierges, and the New York hospitality community., • Handle sensitive requests and guest recovery with discretion, warmth, and sound judgment. Service Leadership • Partner with the General Manager on daily reservation priorities, VIP arrivals, pacing, and guest experience., • Communicate seating decisions and guest information clearly to the host and service teams., • Make timely decisions during service as conditions change., • Serve as a trusted point of contact and an informed presence in the dining room. Qualifications • Prior experience as a Maître d’, Head Maître d’, or Reservations Manager at a high-demand New York City restaurant., • Direct, hands-on ownership of the reservation book, table inventory, waitlist, VIP relationships, and service pacing., • Strong command of Resy or OpenTable and restaurant table management., • Demonstrated ability to recognize guests, build regular clientele, and make effective decisions under pressure., • Excellent communication, organization, discretion, and sound business judgment., • Required: Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages, • Strong social intelligence, presence, and emotional awareness in high-profile guest-facing environments, • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive guest matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment, • Warm, polished, and hospitality-driven demeanor, with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences., • High level of professionalism, confidence, and poise in fast-paced, high-demand restaurant environments, • Preferred: Experience with a hospitality CRM such as Loyalist and established relationships within New York City’s restaurant community. Physical Requirements • Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods of time, • Ability to move and lift items up to 40 lbs as needed Measures of Success Success will be evaluated through covers and occupancy, effective use of released inventory, waitlist conversion, repeat visits, growth of the regular guest base, guest recognition, revenue performance, and the quality of the dining room experience Compensation Details • Compensation: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 annual salary, • Schedule: Full-time, • Benefits & Perks: Paid Time Off, Employee Discounts, Health Insurance

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Bilingual Early Intervention ISC and OSC Service Coordinator’s responsibilities may include: • Serve as the primary Service Coordinator for assigned infants, toddlers, and families., • Explain the Early Intervention Program, service coordination process, family rights, procedural safeguards, and available services to families., • Communicate with families in their preferred language when qualified to do so., • Develop trusting, respectful, and family-centered relationships with parents and caregivers., • Assist families with navigating the Early Intervention system., • Coordinate and facilitate communication among families, evaluators, Early Intervention providers, Early Intervention Officials/Designees, and other professionals involved with the child., • Assist families with scheduling and coordinating multidisciplinary evaluations and other required appointments., • Participate in and coordinate IFSP meetings as required., • Assist families in identifying priorities, concerns, resources, and desired outcomes for their child and family., • Support the development, implementation, review, and amendment of the child’s IFSP., • Assist families with identifying available Early Intervention providers for authorized services., • Coordinate the initiation of authorized Early Intervention services., • Monitor whether services are being delivered in accordance with the child’s IFSP., • Follow up with families and providers regarding missed, delayed, interrupted, or unavailable services., • Identify barriers affecting service delivery and communicate concerns to the appropriate Early Intervention personnel., • Maintain ongoing contact with assigned families in accordance with program requirements and individual family needs., • Assist families with accessing community programs, healthcare resources, social services, educational resources, and other supports when appropriate., • Advocate for family participation and informed decision-making throughout the Early Intervention process., • Support transition planning as children approach age three and prepare to transition from the Early Intervention Program., • Collaborate with families regarding potential transition to preschool special education or other appropriate community services., • Complete all required case notes, service coordination documentation, contact logs, IFSP-related documentation, and other records accurately and within required timeframes., • Maintain accurate and current information within required Early Intervention systems., • Maintain confidentiality of child and family information in accordance with applicable federal and New York State requirements and Angel Community Alliance policies., • Participate in required orientation, training, supervision, quality-assurance activities, and professional-development activities., • Follow all applicable New York State Early Intervention Program requirements, policies, procedures, and ethical standards., • Bilingual Service Coordinators may be responsible for:, • Communicating directly with families in both English and their qualified second language., • Explaining Early Intervention processes and requirements in a manner families can understand., • Supporting culturally and linguistically responsive communication., • Helping reduce language-related barriers to participation in Early Intervention services., • Communicating effectively with bilingual families while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality., • Utilizing approved interpretation and translation resources when circumstances require services beyond the Service Coordinator’s language competency or role. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must meet applicable New York State Early Intervention Program requirements for Service Coordinators and Angel Community Alliance credentialing requirements. Preferred qualifications include: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, human services, early childhood education, special education, sociology, counseling, family studies, behavioral science, or a related field., • Experience working with infants, toddlers, children, or families., • Experience with children with developmental delays or disabilities., • Knowledge of Early Intervention, developmental disabilities, special education, Medicaid-funded programs, or community-based services., • Experience with case management or service coordination., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Strong organizational and time-management abilities., • Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, appointments, and documentation requirements., • Ability to communicate professionally with families, providers, government representatives, and other professionals., • Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to supervision and agency requirements., • Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred. Additional languages commonly spoken by families throughout New York City are also welcomed.
