Job Summary: The Program Assistant provides essential customer service and program support to the Dance Center's 5,000+ weekly visitors. This part-time position is situated primarily at the front desk of the Mark Morris Dance Center, where all visitors enter the building. She/he is responsible for supporting all childcare workers, assistant teachers and teachers within oversight of job performance, guidance of all program employees and for the direct supervision of designated subordinate staff. The position of Program Director is a critical, visible position requiring exceptional leadership, strong management experience and a successful track record of working with government contracts and nonprofit organizations providing social services.
