Dashboard & Reporting Tools • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools (using available platforms and Excel-based solutions), • Ensure timely refresh of performance data (weekly/monthly), • Standardized KPI definitions and reporting methodologies across departments. Quality Improvement & Performance Management • Partner with Quality, Clinical, and Operations team to support Performance Improvement Initiatives, • Provide analytical support for quality committees (e.g., QI Committee, Leadership, Department meetings), • Translate complex datasets into actionable insights for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, • Support initiatives using Learn or continuous improvement methodologies EHR & Technical Reporting • Develop and maintain reports using EHR reporting systems, • Collaborate with IT and clinical staff to improve data capture and workflow efficiency, • Support implementation and optimization of registries and quality reporting tools Regulatory & External Reporting • Lead and support HRSA Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting and submission, • Coordinate external reporting requirements (e.g., HRSA operational reports, payer submissions, quality programs), • Analyze results and provide actionable recommendations to improve compliance and performance. Location: Centereach, NY Schedule: Full Time Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30 AM - 5 PM Salary Range: $115,501 - $126,933 (pay will be determined based on experience, preferred qualifications, and education) The registered nurse (RN) will manage the day to day operations of the ambulatory clinic working closely with the department administrator to develop and institute policies and procedures for the smooth, efficient flow of outpatient care. Job duties & essential functions: • Supervise staff at ambulatory care site, • Works closely with department administrator on all human resource related tasks including but not limited to recruitment, training, staff development, performance program evaluations, performance improvement plans, clinical competencies and re-certifications, • Triage patient phone calls., • Review lab reports and report abnormal results to physicians., • Manage all operational aspects of the outpatient clinic, including monitoring patient related statistics, coordinating room utilization, developing and implementing standardized procedures and practices, following all DOH. JCAHO, HIPAA AND OSHA standards., • Update policies and procedures to meet changing needs of department, physicians, and patients., • Perform quality improvement projects., • Attend meetings and related training sessions., • Provide physicians and physician assistants with nursing assistance as needed., • Perform post-operative care/suture removal., • Act as liaison and problem solver between physician, staff, and patients., • Follow up on and rectify problems reported on by staff, physicians, and patients., • Prepare reports related to fiscal, operational issues, or patient care as directed by department administrator., • Represent department on committees, such as ambulatory care committee, as needed., • All other duties as assigned Required education & qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in nursing, • Registered nurse (RN) licensed to practice in New York state., • Five (5) years of registered nurse experience with at least three (3) years of supervisory or administrative experience., • Excellent organizational and communication skills. Inform the customer of any additional charges not covered by their Third-Party insurance coverage., • Utilize the SERVE sales process to identify customer needs and establish proper lens recommendations based on patient needs. Associate must utilize all available demonstration tools (See SERVE brochure for specifics)., • Analyze and interpret patients' prescriptions. Communicate as necessary with the Lab and Optometrist to ensure accuracy of prescription., • Sell, fit and dispense frames and other accessories through the use of accurate measurements, verification of ordered products and adjustments of various optical products, in accordance with the Eyewear Presentation., • Maintain a clean and orderly dispensing area., • Responsible for the accuracy of customer pricing for the retail customer., • Maintain license requirements per State Guidelines, • Where applicable, provide feedback and guidance to Apprentice Opticians, • Adhere to privacy and confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA), • Participate in any/all training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements as specified within your departmental goals.
