Job Description Clinical Assessment * Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and neuropsychologically-informed evaluations. * Evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning using standardized tools and clinical interviews. * Identify patterns related to brain functioning, trauma, and environmental influences to inform treatment planning. Education & Advocacy * Educate clients and families about the neurobiological basis of mental health symptoms, cognitive patterns, and emotional responses. * Advocate for trauma-informed, brain-based, and holistic approaches within the clinical setting. Professional Development * Stay current with emerging neuroscience research, neuropsychological advances, and therapeutic modalities. * Attend trainings, workshops, and continuing education to maintain expertise. Preferred Skills * Training in EMDR, somatic therapies, polyvagal-informed practices, or other neuroscience-aligned modalities. * Familiarity with neurological conditions (e.g., TBI, stroke, neurodegenerative disorders, ADHD). * Ability to synthesize complex neurobiological concepts in a client-friendly manner. * Comfort working with culturally diverse and underserved populations. Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Bilingual (English & Spanish) Neuropsychologist to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Yonkers, NY. This is a part-time opportunity, 1–2 days per week, providing flexible yet consistent access to high-quality neuropsychological care within our clinic. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and ongoing consultation for patients presenting with cognitive, neurological, and behavioral conditions. You will collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Requirements * Conduct full neuropsychological evaluations, including clinical interviews, standardized cognitive testing, personality assessments, and behavioral observations. * Administer, score, and interpret neuropsychological tests related to memory, attention, processing speed, executive functioning, language, and visuospatial skills. * Diagnose neurological and neurocognitive disorders such as dementia, TBI, stroke-related impairments, ADHD, and neurodevelopmental conditions. * Prepare clear, detailed, and clinically sound evaluation reports, including diagnostic impressions and evidence-based treatment recommendations. * Provide feedback sessions to patients, families, and referring clinicians in both English and Spanish. * Collaborate with neurologists, psychiatrists, primary-care providers, therapists, and case managers on integrated treatment plans. * Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EHR. * Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and quality-improvement initiatives. * Provide consultation on cognitive functioning, capacity evaluations, and behavioral management strategies when needed. Qualifications/Key Responsibilities * Doctoral degree (PhD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program. * Formal training in clinical neuropsychology (APA-accredited internship and 2-year neuropsychology fellowship strongly preferred). * Current New York State Psychologist License * Demonstrated experience conducting neuropsychological assessments with diverse populations. * Bilingual English & Spanish required. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex results to patients and families in both languages. * Experience in outpatient or medical/rehabilitation settings preferred. * ABPP-CN board certification or board eligibility is a plus. VII. Recall of drugs responsible for returning drugs to wholesaler or direct vendor both legend and C2. Maintaining paperwork as required and contacting members when necessary. VIII. Expired drugs: responsible for determining procedures along with manager of fulfillment pertaining to disposal and credits of expired drugs. IX. Inventory: aid in the process of inventory validation as needed. X. Variances with inventory validate along with manager of inventory and finance any variances. XI. C2- all C2 prescriptions must be counted by a technician and then recounted by a pharmacist. C2 count one section per week or delegate to another pharmacist and record in controlled substance log.
