The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) works to make the power grid smarter by developing and deploying innovative information technology solutions to meet New York's dynamic energy needs. The NYISO's Operations department invites applications for a full-time Power Systems Application Engineer. The Power Systems Application Engineer will update and maintain the electric power system model used by the Energy Management System (EMS), Business Management System (BMS), Outage Scheduling System (OUS), Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) and the Transmission Congestion Contract (TCC) applications. Provide support in maintaining all SCADA/EMS advanced applications such as State Estimator (SE) and Security Analysis (SA).
