Job Description The Program Director manages and develops the Bronx Lifelink Program which assists students with college preparation and support, job readiness and career exploration. The Educational Specialist is an on-site instructional leader who collaborates closely with the Education Department and the Site Director to support front-line staff (Academic Enrichment Coaches and Activity Specialists) in delivering skill-based curricula and thematic projects. BroSis provides holistic and long-term support services to youth between the ages of eight and twenty-two. BroSis offers wrap-around evidence-based programming such as four-six year rites of passage programming, thorough five-day-a-week after-school care, school and home counseling, summer camps, job training, college preparation, employment opportunities, community organizing training, and month-long international study programs to Africa and Latin America. POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Arts & Organizing and working closely with the Associate Executive Director of Programming, the Liberation Program (LP) Coordinator provides daily hands-on leadership and support for the Liberation Program, members and facilitators. The LP Coordinator is a vital link between Directors and the frontline staff of the organization. The LP Coordinator is responsible for managing and ensuring the success of the Liberation Program, and working collectively with other Coordinators and Directors to support the organizations overall programmatic vision.
