Job Description Job Title: Sterile Processing Supervisor Location: New York City, New York (must be in either Bronx or Manhattan) Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 Bonus: Eligible up to 10% Job Overview: The Sterile Processing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at an assigned hospital account while ensuring high-quality service delivery. This role supervises a team of three or more technicians, supports surgical and endoscopy services, manages scheduling and compliance, and serves as the primary point of contact for the facility. The Sterile Processing Supervisor reports to the Account Manager or Regional Operations Director. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee operating room support, including pre-operative setup, intra-operative support, and post-operative turnover, • Ensure surgical video and equipment are functioning properly and arranged according to surgeon preferences, • Manage instrument decontamination, inspection, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, and equipment maintenance, • Oversee endoscopy services, including equipment readiness, inventory, cleaning, disinfection, and scope reprocessing compliance, • Supervise, train, and manage a team of technicians to ensure strong performance and adherence to company standards, • Conduct interviews, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed, • Create schedules, manage timekeeping, and monitor overtime to maintain operational efficiency, • Serve as the main point of contact for hospital leadership and staff, helping resolve issues and improve service delivery, • Maintain personnel files, credentials, and compliance with state and facility requirements, • Order supplies, manage inventory, and support accurate billing and reporting, • Use required company systems and digital tools, including SCMP, ADP, Outlook, Concur, and Slack, • Communicate onsite issues promptly to leadership and Human Resources as needed, • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred, • CRCST certification required, • CER certification preferred, • 3–5 years of experience in an operating room environment and frontline supervisory roles, • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with hospital teams, • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and direct teams effectively, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in high-stress situations, • Availability for rotational weekday, weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as needed, • Opportunity to lead operations at a key hospital account, • Leadership and team development responsibilities, • Exposure to surgical services, endoscopy, and hospital operations, • Ongoing certification and training support opportunities, • Use of company technology and systems to support operational success
