About the Role The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for managing a group of assigned clinicians. This management will include facilitating training, auditing the clinicians to ensure services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices, helping to improve communication between the clinicians and management, etc. You will assist the Clinical Director in managing and developing the clinical staff. Responsibilities • Assist the Clinical Director to develop and implement an engaging clinical schedule, including the development of curriculum, • Ensure that clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices, • Crisis management throughout all intensive outpatient program delivery/on-call responsibilities throughout nights/weekends, • Maintain a caseload and facilitate weekly group treatment (15 hours minimum), • Well versed in a variety of modalities and feel confident integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus), • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents, • Ensure compliance to regulations set forth by The Joint Commission and perform ongoing quality assurance, • Monitor treatment documentation to ensure all notes are included and meets agency and professional standards per DHCS and The Joint Commission standards, • Provide clinical supervision in accordance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, • Maintain and model professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality, • Assist with the development of relationships with key referral sources, participate in networkingRequirements, • Must be an independently licensed mental health counselor, social worker, or marriage and family therapist, • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency, • Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults clients, • Leadership experience in clinical setting (inpatient, outpatient, IOP, PHP) Additional Information The total target base compensation for this role will be between $65,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role offers a target performance-based bonus. The target total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $65,000 and $94,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe clinical nurse manager, as part of the health center operations leadership team, serves as the procedural abortion service and sexual reproductive services clinical nurse lead for the Region 1 NYC health centers. The clinical nurse manager collaborates with the health center managers/operations designee to oversee day-to-day management of the clinical sites. The clinical nurse Manger is responsible for practice, education, professional development, recruitment, and retention within the clinical sites. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• In collaboration with the Senior Director, Clinical Practice Operations, manages nursing staff in procedural abortion and sexual reproductive health services.• In collaboration with the Senior Director, Clinical Practice Operations and health center operations leadership, develops and implements strategies to enhance clinic efficiency while preserving high-quality patient-centered care.• Develops staffing plans and manages nursing and clinical staff schedules, including PTO and coverage for call outs to ensure safe staffing.• Assists with direct nursing care responsibilities during high flow work times.• Provides direct patient care and coverage for scheduled or unscheduled PTO, as needed• Conducts required emergency medical drills with the procedural abortion team• Actively participates in nurse recruitment and onboarding; conducts regular performance evaluations, develops performance improvement and corrective action plans as needed.• Develops and implements onboarding and training plans for new hires and facilitates re-education and training on new services for existing staff, and documents Personal Orientation Plan (POP) sign-off for new hires.• In collaboration with the Senior Director of Clinical Practice Operations and the clinical and health center operations leadership teams, participates in the development and updating of PPGNY policies and procedures related to nursing staff and procedural abortion care and sexual reproductive services.• Directs the functions of the nursing department in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory authorities (i.e., DOH, Article 28, etc.,)• Oversees stocking and preparation of procedural abortion space and clinic spaces, assuring adequate equipment and supplies at par levels.• Supports and implements standards in alignment with 1199 union collective bargaining agreement.• Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff, and monitors staff practices and implementation.
