Job DescriptionSurvey Crew Chief - Land Surveying Title: Survey Crew Chief - Land Surveying Location: Columbus, GA (31909) (Relocation Package Available) Pay: $28-$35 What You Will Be Doing • Running field survey crews on construction, boundary, topographic, and subdivision staking projects, • Performing field measurements with GPS, robotic total stations, digital levels, and LiDAR equipment, • Executing heavy construction staking with accuracy and following project specifications, • Completing daily field notes, measurements, and documentation, • Coordinating with supervisors on schedules, priorities, and field conditions, • Solid field surveying experience in construction staking, boundary, and topographic work, • Curb, Gutter, Storm & Sewer Construction staking with elevation and offset HIGHLY PREFERRED, • Strong skills with GPS, robotic total stations, digital levels, and modern LiDAR tools, • Ability to independently lead a field crew and manage day to day operations, • Good understanding of construction plans, layout methods, and field calculations, • Familiarity with subdivision plats, roadway layouts, and site development processes 401K With Match, Company Truck, Company phone and quarterly bonus' and more.
