About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher’s Aide / Support Teacher to join a mission-driven K–8 charter school. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to support students in reaching their full potential. As a Teacher’s Aide, you’ll work closely with classroom teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide individualized support to students, and assist with daily school operations — helping create a nurturing, dynamic, and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities In the Classroom * Support teachers by preparing materials, setting up classroom activities, and maintaining a welcoming and organized learning space. * Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce lessons and build academic confidence. * Assist with reading, writing, math, and other core subjects. * Provide guidance, encouragement, and emotional support to students throughout the school day. * Help monitor student progress and assist in maintaining classroom order and safety. Schoolwide Support * Assist with lunch, recess, arrival, and dismissal routines. * Participate in early-release, after-school, and Saturday programming as needed. * Serve as a bus monitor and support school events, assemblies, and community activities.
