Job Description Job Responsibilities We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries., • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions., • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges., • Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation., • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs., • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed., • Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, filing, answering telephone calls., • Revise and Update Calendars., • Coordinates and maintains records tenant files by update spreadsheets and logs with corresponding documents., • Education:, • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred., • Experience:, • Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role., • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices., • Skills:, • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel., • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is a plus., • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills., • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
