Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Technician – Supply Store Pay Rate: $20/hr Work schedule : Monday to Friday 8am - 4 pm Job Description The Warehouse Technician supports daily warehouse operations by safely handling, receiving, storing, and distributing materials within a supply store environment. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and adherence to safety standards while working a consistent weekday schedule. Responsibilities • Use material handling equipment to manage inbound and outbound shipments, including loading and unloading trucks and moving materials into and out of warehouse racks and between locations., • Receive inbound freight from parcel carriers such as UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, and DHL, ensuring accurate processing and placement into inventory., • Safely operate assigned material handling equipment and complete required inspections to confirm all equipment is in safe operating condition., • Report all accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly to the supervisor to support a safe working environment., • Stock and arrange products in the warehouse to support efficient inventory turns and easy access to materials., • Perform cycle counts to determine accurate material quantities and help maintain precise inventory records., • Receive material into inventory, move material between designated locations, and locate or pick material to and from warehouse locations as required., • Ensure accurate entry of part numbers, quantities, and related data fields into electronic systems to maintain correct records of receipts, inventory levels, and locations., • Identify and resolve discrepancies involving material quantities, part numbers, or inventory locations in coordination with the appropriate personnel., • Locate parts in the warehouse while ensuring pallets are stable, pallet heights are safe, and racking, equipment, and materials remain undamaged., • Keep aisles clear and free of materials to maintain safe and efficient access throughout the warehouse., • Apply safe material handling techniques at all times to protect people, equipment, and inventory., • Perform housekeeping duties as assigned to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment., • Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required to support operational needs., • Experience working in a warehouse or supply store environment., • Ability to use material handling equipment safely and effectively., • Ability to load and unload trucks and handle inbound and outbound shipments., • Strong attention to detail for accurate part number, quantity, and data entry into electronic inventory systems., • Ability to perform cycle counting and maintain accurate inventory records., • Capability to stock, arrange, and locate materials efficiently within warehouse racks and designated locations., • Commitment to safe material handling practices and adherence to safety procedures., • Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends as required., • Previous experience in a warehouse role is preferred., • Familiarity with parcel carriers such as UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, and DHL is beneficial., • Forklift experience is a plus but not required. You will work in a stable, weekday-based role with a consistent schedule that supports work–life balance. Work Environment This position is based in a warehouse supply store environment with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will work around material handling equipment and warehouse racking, handling inbound and outbound freight from carriers such as UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, and DHL. The role is designated as safety sensitive, so adherence to safety protocols, equipment inspections, and safe material handling techniques is essential. The work involves physical tasks such as loading, unloading, stocking, and moving materials, as well as maintaining a clean and organized facility. Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak periods or to meet operational demands. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Montville, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
