Department/Unit: Emergency Medicine General Work Shift: Per Diem (United States of America) Salary Range: $78,773.63 - $122,099.12 The clinical research coordinator is responsible for the organization and management of multiple industry sponsored and Investigator initiated clinical trials. The position is accountable for assisting in the timely and accurate conduct of research studies, being concerned primarily for the protection and care of the patient as a research patient from initiation to completion of study. Activities include participating in the study start up and termination procedures, working with study participants in various study tasks including patient recruitment, screening for eligibility, scheduling, physical assessments and biospecimen collection and processing, as well as data collection and study completion activities. Job Description Purpose of the Role Using a status-neutral approach, the HIV Youth Services Specialist engages LGBTQIA+ youth, ages 13-24, through outreach, testing/screening, linkage, education, and supportive services. They conduct HIV/STI testing and screening for all youth, access to PEP/PrEP/Doxy-PEP and contraception, and linkage to care services through navigation support, facilitate evidence-based interventions, and connect youth to sexual health care and other essential resources – such as mental health care, housing support, Pantry services, medical appointment support, assistance enrolling in insurance, and more. The Office of School Health (OSH) is a joint Program of the NYC Public Schools (NYCPS) and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) responsible for promoting the health of the 1 million school children enrolled in approximately 1800 public and non-public schools in the New York City. Domestic Violence Services (DVS) provides a variety of comprehensive immediate and long-term support services to survivors of domestic violence (dv) and their families. DVS provides oversight for the largest domestic shelter system in the country which provides safety and services for this vulnerable population. The Office of Child Support Services Fiscal Operations which handles all fiscal related activities is responsible for ensuring that child support accounts are build updated and maintained so that payments received are disbursed accurately to the correct party timely and that all misdirected funds are properly rerouted to the correct account resulting in the proper enforcement of child support orders. Accounting resolves issues with disbursements batch adjustments and processes returned checks replacement checks and stale dated checks. This unit also reconciles receipts batch transactions and daily disbursements as well as all bank accounts and exception reporting including $9 million in credit card payments. This unit is also responsible for ensuring the fiscal integrity of OCSE by preventing fraud throughout the collection and disbursement process.
