The ADON assists in ensuring high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and operational efficiency across nursing services. This role provides leadership to nursing staff, supports policy implementation, assists with performance improvement initiatives, and ensures adherence to state Nurse Practice Acts, federal regulations, and accreditation standards. The ADON functions as a key member of the nursing leadership team and may assume responsibility in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
