Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck / Cargo Van Driver to join our team. This role involves local route driving, delivery, and pick-up services, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, customer service, and warehouse operations, with the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. Duties • Safely operate box trucks and cargo vans for local deliveries and pickups according to assigned routes, • Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, • Ensure accurate delivery of goods to customers while providing excellent customer service, • Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations, • Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory and organizing shipments, • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly, • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the vehicle and work area, • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required, • Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially with box trucks or cargo vans, • Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities, • Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, forklift operation, and pallet jack use is a plus, • Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items safely, • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous, • Knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safety regulations, • Flexible schedule Work Location: On the road

Position Summary As a CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up products on an established route. You will also assist with shipping and receiving, and collect payments from customers as needed. This role reports to the Transportation Manager and is entitled to overtime for hours worked beyond 40 per week. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Load and unload products using a hand truck or manually, • Operate company vehicles safely and courteously, adhering to state, local, DOT, and Hours of Service regulations, • Pick up and deliver products promptly to and from various customers and vendors, • Maintain the cleanliness and condition of delivery vehicles, • Conduct daily maintenance checks and report issues, • Relay customer messages to management, • Manage return of credit products with proper paperwork, • Maintain a neat workplace, • Inform transportation about overstock issues immediately, • Provide customers with signed invoices or credit forms, • Ensure items are secured on the truck to prevent damage, • Perform additional duties as requested by management Competencies • Strong oral and written communication skills, • Reading skills and math aptitude, • Customer relations and organizational abilities, • Professionalism and time management Physical Demands • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
