Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Reports to: Construction Manager (Underground) The Lead TBM Tunnel Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality excavation. This role will oversee ground improvement works, interpret geotechnical and instrumentation data, and implement mitigation measures as required to safeguard adjacent structures and maintain compliance with design and safety standards. Immediate opening – seeking replacement for departing Lead Project Manager We are urgently seeking a seasoned Heavy Civil Project Manager with 10+ years of continuous, verifiable experience as the project lead Project Manager on major heavy civil projects exclusively in the NYC market. Experience outside the NYC metro area will not be accepted. Requirements • Minimum 10 years as a Project Manager with established NYC-area heavy civil contractors, • Deep excavation and heavy Support of Excavation (SOE), • Heavy concrete (mass pours, elevated slabs, complex form work), • Concrete on metal deck and other superstructure concrete, • Pile drilling and pile driving (driven piles, drilled shafts, micro piles), • Waterproofing systems for below-grade structures, • Rock excavation (controlled blasting a plus), • De-watering and groundwater control, • Must know submittals, RFIS, Bluebeam, and MS Project or P6, • Direct experience on large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects in NYC is strongly preferred

What Youll Be Doing • Assist with project setup, demolition, debris removal, and site protection, • Prep surfaces (cement board install, level prep, waterproof prep), • Assist with tile installation on walls, floors, and shower surrounds, • Install fixtures (vanity, mirrors, shower trim, drain covers, etc.), • Help set pans, shower bases, and substrates, • Assist with minor plumbing disconnects and finishing connections, • Support layout work, measuring, and cutting materials, • Maintain a clean and safe job site daily, • Load and organize tools, materials, and job-site supplies, • Report progress, delays, or issues to the Project Manager, • Interact with homeowners professionally, when neededThis role offers hands-on training to advance into Lead Installer status. What You Need to Bring • 12 years in construction or remodeling OR strong mechanical aptitude, • Some experience with tiling, carpentry, drywall, or similar trade, • Ability to use basic tools: drill, level, saws, cutters, tape measure, • Reliable transportation and valid drivers license, • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (tile boxes, vanities, shower pans), • Attention to detail, willingness to follow direction, • Ability to work efficiently and maintain job-site professionalismBonus Experience (Preferred but Not Required), • Tile installation experience, • Waterproofing systems (Schluter, RedGard, cement board prep), • Basic plumbing (P-traps, shut-offs, drains, trim kits), • Electrical light or fan fixture swaps, • Bathroom fixture installationCandidates with specialty trade skills or experience on full remodels will move up fastest.
