Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Reports to: Cavern General Manager The Cavern Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily field operations for the excavation, support, waterproofing, and structural work associated with large underground caverns, including station boxes, crossovers, and ventilation shafts. Working closely with field crews, subcontractors, engineers, and support staff, the Superintendent ensures that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design specifications and project schedules. This is a field-based leadership role that requires deep experience in underground construction techniques, with a strong focus on safety, productivity, and quality in challenging subsurface environments.
