Job Description GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Wilen is driven by industry-leading agency services and cutting-edge direct mail production. We provide strategic direct marketing solutions for national brands, leveraging innovative variable data technology, to turn concepts into finished digital and physical products, all in one seamless process. As Account Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for leading an Account Management team, while developing, managing and growing client relationships. In this position, you will be managing client expectations and liaising between clients and internal account management, creative, data, production and technical teams on the conception and execution of strategic marketing campaigns. RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to): All lawful directives of your supervisor or a member of Company management. • Supervise, mentor, motivate and develop account team to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction, • Lead and hands on manage the day-to-day relationship with key clients, • Provide leadership and strategic recommendations in the planning and development of marketing campaigns to ensure all objectives are met according to project brief, strategy and brand guidelines, • Understand client’s business strategy, products/services, industry challenges, target customers and competitors; monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape to provide strategic insights, • Develop strategic creative briefs and guide internal agency teams throughout project lifecycle, • Develop and present proposals, partner with Account Director and creative team to present creative concepts, • Work with account team to ensure all work is delivered on time and accurately, • Assist in the planning and strategy for account growth and retention, • Financial management of accounts including the development of SOWs, prepare forecasts, oversee billing and ensure financial goals are attained on assigned accounts, • Schedule and lead client meetings whether onsite or via teleconference at required internals, • Lead and partner with creative team to present creative concepts, agency recommendations, points-of-view and testing roadmaps to clients, • Oversee schedule requests and revisions, ensuring on-time and on budget completion of work, • Manage and mentor agency personnel in the daily execution of client projects to ensure deliverables are met on strategy, • Overseeing, and when required, providing hands-on support of Account Manager and Account Coordinator functions, • Conduct annual work performance reviews for assigned account management teams, • Travel is required for this position, • Additional projects and assignments maybe assigned based on the needs of the company and/or the department QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field (MBA a plus), • Minimum of 5 years agency experience (direct mail experience preferred), with the demonstrated ability to execute measurable marketing programs, • Proven experience in managing client relationships and supervising and mentoring account teams members, • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), database and spreadsheet experience, • Strong verbal/written communications skills, good critical thinking skills, be creative and a problem solver, and exhibit a strong client service orientation, • Ability to analyze the client's business and make strategic recommendations, • Ability to persuasively and comfortably present agency recommendations and creative ideas to clients, • Travel is required for this position (approximately 25%) This job description is subject to change from time to time at the Company’s discretion. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
