We are currently looking for a Senior SAP ALM Consultant (m/f/d) Spain, Málaga, remote, permanent, full-time Role Summary: Own the strategy and end-to-end implementation of SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) - covering Implementation and Operations - to improve delivery predictability, release quality, observability, and incident response across SAP landscapes (S/4HANA Cloud/Private, BTP, and connected SaaS). You’ll design the target operating model, configure CALM, integrate it with the enterprise toolchain, and enable teams. Key Responsibilities: ALM Operating Model • Define CALM governance for Requirements→Deploy and Detect→Correct (roles, RACI, quality gates, CAB/QRB cadence, KPIs), • Align CALM usage with SAP Activate phases and project template CALM Implementation (Delivery) • Set up Projects, Requirements, Features, User Stories, Tasks, Test-Management, Defects, Releases & Deployments, • Build traceability from requirement → test case → defect → transport/deployment → release, • Configure Test Plans/Cycles, manual tests, and integrate automation (e.g., Tricentis Test Automation for SAP / Xray) CALM Operations (Run) • Configure Integration & Exception Monitoring, Health Monitoring, Job & Automation Monitoring, Business Process Monitoring, Alerting and Operations Dashboards, • Establish on-call workflows, SLAs/SLIs/SLOs, and problem management within CALM Toolchain Integration • Integrate CALM via APIs/connectors with Jira/Azure DevOps (backlog & status sync), ServiceNow (incidents/changes), SAP BTP CI/CD (transport/deploy), and documentation wikis Cutover & Release • Lead cutover planning within CALM, run dress rehearsals, coordinate hypercare and post-go-live stabilization dashboards Enablement & Adoption • Create playbooks, dashboards, and trainings; coach product owners, testers, and operations teams Required Qualifications: • 6+ years in SAP delivery/operations with 3+ years hands-on in SAP Cloud ALM (both Implementation and Operations), • Proven setup of CALM-Projects, Test-Management, Defects, Release/Deployment, and Operations Monitoring across S/4HANA and BTP, • Demonstrated Jira (or Azure DevOps) integration experience with CALM (requirements/defect sync, status mapping, reporting), • Strong knowledge of SAP Activate, cutover/hypercare, transport/deployment flows (CTS/CTC, gCTS, or CI/CD on BTP), • Experience defining KPIs/OKRs for delivery and run (lead time, change failure rate, MTTR, defect leakage), • Excellent stakeholder management and enablement skills; fluent English Nice to Have: • RISE with SAP experience (Private & Public Cloud), CALM for SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations, • Test automation exposure (Tricentis, OPA, Cypress for UI where applicable), • Observability and event management (Ops integration with SIEM/ITOM tools), • Certifications: SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Activate PM, PSM/CSM or PMI-ACP Core Skills: • SAP Cloud ALM configuration & governance, • Requirements → Test → Defect → Release traceability, • Operations monitoring & alerting, dashboarding, • Toolchain/API integrations (Jira/ADO, ServiceNow, BTP CI/CD), • Cutover planning & hypercare control, • KPI design, executive reporting, and continuous improvement Education: • Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) What´s in it for you: • A strategic position in key SAP projects for a major international client, • An international, growth-oriented environment with innovative projects and industry-specific challenges, • Diverse development opportunities, creative freedom, and involvement in modern SAP landscapes, • Flexible working hours and a remote-friendly setup with occasional travel, • A family-like company culture with flat hierarchies, quick decision-making, and a culture of trust, expertise, humor, and enjoyment, • Collaboration in a diverse international team and comprehensive onboarding to ensure a smooth start Interested?
