Atelier House embraces Madrid’s cultural diversity, aiming to bridge local and international communities. We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Educator for our new English immersion childcare program in Madrid’s Barrio de Salamanca. This unique project offers a warm, high-quality environment where young children (1–3 years) spend their mornings immersed in English through play, creativity, and meaningful interaction. Our focus is on care, stimulation, and language immersion within a nurturing environment that supports early development through exploration and play. As an educator, you will play a key role in shaping the program from the very beginning. Key Responsibilities • Organize play-based activities for children aged 1–3, • Create a rich English immersion environment through songs, stories, and interactive play, • Contribute to the development and structure of the program, • Foster a warm, safe, and nurturing atmosphere, • Build positive relationships with families, • Coordinate with support staff, • Prepare materials and maintain an organized, well-prepared space, • Assist with planning and ordering materials for the childcare space Requirements • Early Childhood Education qualification valid in Spain (Técnico Superior en Educación Infantil or Grado en Educación Infantil), • 3–5 years of professional experience with children aged 1–3, • Excellent English level (native, near-native or perfectly fluent preferred), • Good Spanish for communication with families and staff, • Experience contributing to activities, program design, or coordination, • Legal authorization to work in Spain, • Ability to obtain the Spanish Certificate of Sexual Offences Clearance (Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual), • Professional references Ideal Profile We especially value candidates who: • Are familiar with Reggio Emilia, Montessori or other child-centered approaches, • Are dynamic, organized, and proactive, • Enjoy working closely with families, • Have a collaborative mindset and strong sense of responsibility What We Offer • The opportunity to play a key role in launching a new childcare concept in Madrid, • A small, caring, and international environment, • Part-time contract (30 hours per week).
