At Tiger Data, formerly Timescale, we empower developers and businesses with the fastest PostgreSQL platform designed for transactional, analytical, and agentic workloads. Trusted globally by thousands of organizations, Tiger accelerates real-time insights, drives intelligent applications, and powers critical infrastructure at scale. As a globally distributed, remote-first team committed to direct communication, accountability, and collaborative excellence, we're shaping the future of data infrastructure, built for speed, flexibility, and simplicity. As the EMEA Sales Manager at Tiger Data, you will lead our fastest-growing sales segment and take direct ownership of how we build and scale our go-to-market motion across the region. EMEA is where much of our enterprise self-hosted opportunity lives, with customers who can't move to the cloud for compliance, architectural, or connectivity reasons, and who represent significant untapped revenue as we bring TimescaleDB Enterprise to market. You will lead a team of Account Executives selling into this landscape, shape how we position across a mix of Tiger Cloud and self-hosted deployments, and build the operating rhythm that turns strong reps into a repeatable, outbound-led engine. You will report to the Head of Sales and work closely with peers across US Enterprise and US Commercial, as well as Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Partnerships. This is a high-agency role where you'll be expected to hold a strong point of view, push back when needed, and shape strategy rather than execute against a fixed playbook. Due to the team's location and our customers' needs, the candidate we select must reside near Barcelona. This role is hybrid, with a team that meets in the office 1-2 days per week. English language fluency is required. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE Lead and manage a team of 6-8 Account Executives across EMEA, setting clear performance expectations and providing ongoing coaching in an insight-led, challenger-style sales motion Own EMEA revenue attainment, both new logo and expansion across Tiger Cloud and self-hosted deployments, including TimescaleDB Enterprise as it becomes commercially available Build and enforce the outbound motion that anchors the region: target account discipline, contact density, and quality of engagement over volume Coach reps on business impact discovery and ensure adoption of our sales framework Partner with Marketing on ABM execution for the region, including custom nurture cadences, event follow-up, and coordinated coverage against the target account list Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and CDE / Professional Services to move deals through complex, multi-stakeholder cycles Recruit, hire, and develop talent, building a bench of strong ICs and identifying future leaders within the team Represent EMEA in company-level GTM planning, forecasting, and quarterly leadership discussions YOU COULD BE A GREAT FIT IF 2+ years of experience managing a quota-carrying mid-market or enterprise sales team, ideally in SaaS, infrastructure, or database-related sales Track record of building and scaling outbound motions, not just managing inbound conversion, including running teams whose primary pipeline source is self-generated Strong coaching orientation, with the ability to develop reps into confident, insight-led sellers who can challenge technical buyers Experience selling to technical audiences (engineering leaders, CTOs, platform teams) and navigating multi-stakeholder deals Comfort with complex GTM environments where cloud and self-hosted deployments coexist, and where positioning must adapt to customer architecture and constraints A cross-functional operator, someone who works well with Marketing, Product, and CS peers to drive outcomes rather than staying in a sales silo Data-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to translate pipeline signal into coaching, forecasting, and resource decisions Strong communication skills, with the confidence to hold a point of view in leadership discussions and push back when needed YOU MIGHT NOT BE A GREAT FIT IF You are located outside of Barcelona You're most comfortable in stable, well-established organizations rather than fast-moving environments where strategy evolves quarterly You rely on inbound flow to hit team targets rather than driving outbound as the core motion You avoid direct conversations with peers, cross-functional partners, or leadership when alignment is needed OUR COMMITMENT: We respond to every applicant. We review applications fairly and objectively, and shortlist based on relevant skills and experience. We ensure clear and timely communication throughout your candidate journey. We maintain a rigorous interview process with a high bar, designed to give you the opportunity to meet various team …#J-18808-Ljbffr
