About the Role As the Network Partner Manager, you will develop, manage and strengthen relationships with international network partners, including banks and insurance companies across APAC, EMEA and the Americas. You will shape Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ international surety ecosystem, ensuring partner capabilities are reliable, scalable and compliant with Swiss Re’s standards. Responsibilities * • Act as the senior point of contact for banks and insurers, ensuring reliable capacity, seamless service and long‑term collaboration., • Expand the partner network by identifying opportunities, assessing providers, supporting due diligence and onboarding new partners., • Streamline and standardize partner processes to achieve efficiency, consistency and alignment with Swiss Re’s risk framework and regulatory requirements., • Coordinate timely execution of international surety transactions and maintain high service delivery standards., • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Surety Underwriting, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance) to align and monitor partner performance., • Lead performance reviews of existing partners, including service quality assessments, KPI monitoring, issue resolution and improvement implementation., • Provide expert advisory on international surety processes, regulatory considerations and best practices to internal teams, clients, brokers and partners. About the Team International Surety Desk is an emerging team working closely with global Surety business teams across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas. We champion high customer satisfaction and support profitable growth through streamlined partner engagement. Key Attributes * • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills., • Ability to build trust‑based relationships with banks, insurers and internal teams., • Strategic mindset coupled with operational discipline., • Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities., • Ability to prioritize competing requests and drive improvements in a complex international ecosystem. Essential Skills * • Education: Commercial degree (banking specialist), bachelor’s in economics, finance, business administration or law, or equivalent experience., • Professional Experience:, • +10 years with financial institutions (surety, trade finance, credit insurance or international banking)., • Proven experience managing institutional relationships or partnerships., • Solid understanding of cross‑border guarantees, surety operations or related risk‑transfer processes., • Leadership: Experience leading teams or overseeing operational functions is an advantage., • Languages: Proficiency in English mandatory; German a key differentiator; additional market languages (Spanish, French) a plus., • Presentation and PowerPoint skills. Nice to Have * • Experience in banking, insurance or trade finance (partner management, correspondence banking, or surety)., • Experience negotiating front‑ing agreements or collaboration frameworks., • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as URDG758, ICISA forms and other international rules., • Understanding of AML, sanctions and compliance processes., • Experience managing KPI performance for financial institution partners. Salary & Benefits For Spain, the base salary range is EUR 45,000–EUR 75,000 for a full‑time role. Salary is determined by responsibilities, complexity and candidate profile. In addition to base salary, you may be eligible for a performance‑based annual bonus.
