The ideal candidate for this Waiter/Waitress position will have: • A minimum of 1 year waiting experience in a fast paced, high-end hospitality venue, preferably with seasonal experience. • Fundamental knowledge of spirits and wines. • Excellent customer service, passion for hospitality and great interpersonal skills. • The ability to work as a team with a positive work ethic. • A friendly, pro-active with a can-do attitude. • Keen interest to develop their knowledge and progress. • Excellent communication skills. Position Overview: · To help with the preparation of food items in any sections of the kitchen according to standard recipes to ensure guest satisfaction is consistent with COYA standards · To prepare the mise en place for the stations while reducing waste · To maintain all mise en place at a sufficient levels to ensure an uninterrupted flow of food during the service period whilst controlling food quality, consistency, appearance and taste · Ensure Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times Experience and Abilities you will need: - Intermediate-Advanced level of Spanish, additional languages will be an advantage - Previous experience in high-end hospitality venue would be advantageous - Basic knowledge of kitchen operation - Food Safety and Hygiene knowledge We treat our trainees as family, so we offer excellent benefits.
