About Seaesta Seaesta is a digital-first boat rental startup at Port Fòrum, Barcelona. Our mission is to make nautical experiences effortless, from booking to boarding, fully online and hassle-free. As we grow, we're building a small, reliable team to deliver a flawless experience at the dock every day. The Role This role has two sides: running our dock operations, and actively growing our bookings. Dock operations a) Check-in: Welcome clients at the dock, verify ID and booking, explain the boat controls and safety rules, complete the rental paperwork, and assist with departure. b) Check-out: Receive the boat on return, carry out a full condition inspection (hull, engine, propeller, equipment), take photos and upload them to the shared folder, file a damage report with the client if needed, and close the rental documentation. Each check-out includes a basic clean of the boat. c) End of day: The last check-out of the day includes extra time to thoroughly clean both boats and prepare them for the following day. Marketing & promotion (morning block) Between the morning and midday operations, you'll actively promote Seaesta around the area: handing out flyers, visiting and building relationships with hotels and Airbnb hosts, and driving direct bookings. Each promoter has their own personal discount code, so every booking you generate is tracked, and rewarded with a bonus. Schedule The working day is split into two blocks (week and weekend days), based on confirmed departures: Morning block — approx. 09:30 → 14:15 • 09:30 – 10:30 — morning check-in, • 10:30 – 13:15 — marketing & promotion in the area, • 13:15 – 14:15 — midday check-out + afternoon check-in Evening block — approx. 17:45 → 18:45 and 20:15 → 21:15 • 17:45 – 18:45 — check-out + evening check-in, • 20:15 – 21:15 — final check-out + full cleaning of both boats (Evening end time shifts slightly with the sunset.) Total ≈ 6.5–7 hours/day, roughly 3–4 days per week. Compensation • €13/hour gross, • Performance bonus for every booking generated through your personal discount code, the more effective your promotion, the more you earn, • No fixed monthly salary: pay is hourly, so it scales with the days you work What we're looking for • Fluent Spanish and English (mandatory) — French or German a plus, • Availability during the weekend, • Outgoing and confident: comfortable approaching clients, handing out flyers, and pitching to hotels and hosts. This is not a role for someone shy., • Highly reliable and punctual — we depend on you being at the dock exactly on time, every slot, • Strong attention to detail, • Valid work permit for Spain, • Based near Port Fòrum or with easy access to the area is a plus, • Previous nautical or hospitality experience a plus, not required What we offer • A dynamic role in a fast-growing nautical startup, • Above-market hourly pay plus an uncapped booking bonus, • A transparent, professional working environment, • Real growth opportunities as the business expands
