With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy.About the role.The REO (Resources Efficient Operations) Manager EMENA plays a key role in driving the sustainability agenda across the EMENA/GB&I manufacturing network. This role ensures the effective deployment of environmental standards related to CO₂ emissions, energy consumption, water usage, renewable electricity, and waste reduction.Working closely with plant, engineering, and regional teams, you will align processes, simplify ways of working, and ensure consistency in environmental performance across all sites. You will also foster a strong sustainability culture and support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.What you’ll be doing. Drive the REO roadmap implementation across all manufacturing sites in the region Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and company policies Monitor and analyze sustainability KPIs (CO₂, water, energy, waste) to meet targets Develop and coordinate sustainability roadmaps aligned with company objectives Lead and facilitate the REO Plant Managers community Standardize processes and governance to improve operational consistency Conduct internal audits and support relations with regulatory authorities Promote best practices and continuous improvement culture across plants Support waste reduction initiatives and environmental performance improvement Collaborate with global, regional, and site teams on key sustainability projectsWhat you’ll need to be successful. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent (Master’s/MBA preferred) Minimum 10 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or R&D Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and performance metrics Proven project management experience and successful delivery track record Experience working with multicultural and cross-functional teams Knowledge of environmental systems (e.g., ISO 14001 / 50001) is a strong asset Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent in English; additional language (French, Polish, or Dutch) depending on location Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset (Lean / Green Belt is a plus) Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive changeBenefits of the role.Competitive salary package aligned with experience and market benchmarks.
