POSITION OVERVIEW The manufacturing innovation leader is responsible for leading the development, validation, and industrialization of new products, and qualify advanced processes for welded tube manufacturing. This role supports the Group’s innovation strategy by managing new product and process development projects, improving manufacturing capabilities, and providing technical expertise to operating units worldwide. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the position ensures the successful deployment of innovative solutions that enhance product performance, operational efficiency, and manufacturing quality across the organization. The manufacturing innovation leader reports to Innovation and Development Director, at corporate level. RESPONSABILITIES Innovation - Product & Process Development • Lead the development and industrialization of new welded tube products and advanced manufacturing processes (welding, finning, bending, non-destructive testing) in line with the Group innovation roadmap., • Manage projects from concept and technical feasibility to industrial deployment and mass production launch., • Conduct design and process risk assessments (DFMEA), • Define technical validation plans including tooling, testing protocols, and qualification trials., • Validate prototypes and process parameters through technical report and performance analysis Industrialization & Process Excellence • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient industrialization of new technologies and products., • Lead strategic raw material qualification in compliance with applicable standards and quality requirements., • Identify opportunities to improve process capability, productivity, and product quality., • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for engineering or production issues. Technical & Business Support • Provide technical expertise for welded tubing technologies to manufacturing teams across the Group. Support product feasibility, equipment start-up, process optimization, and troubleshooting., • Contribute technical discussion with customers and support business during tender process, • Develop and update engineering drawings and technical documentation for tooling and equipment. Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination • Lead cross-functional project teams involving Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain., • Define project scope, milestones, risk analysis, and validation plans., • Monitor project performance and report technical and financial progress, risks, and results to management. Technology Development & Knowledge Sharing • Monitor technological developments in welding, tube manufacturing, and inspection technologies., • Promote knowledge transfer and best practices across the Group., • Contribute to defining technological differentiation strategies supporting the Group’s competitive position. KEY INDICATORS • Successful launch of new products and technologies, • Achievement of project milestones and timelines, • Improvements in manufacturing efficiency and process capability AUTHORITY • Approval of technical reports, prototype results, and qualification tests, • Leadership of cross-functional project teams, • Ability to propose process improvements, equipment investments, and innovation initiatives QUALIFICATIONS Education • Master’s degree or Engineering degree in mechanics, metallic material, welding or any related engineering field. Experience • 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering., • Knowledge of tube manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication is an advantage. Technical Competencies • Metallurgy of titanium, stainless steels and nickel alloys, • Mechanical behavior of metallic materials, • Corrosion mechanisms in industrial environments, • TIG and laser welding processes, • Basic knowledge with engineering softwares (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Abaqus), • Basic knowledge of heat transfer is a plus Skills • Strong project management (APQP or other) and analytical skills, • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international environments, • Excellent communication and technical reporting abilities, • Proactive, organized, and results-driven Languages • Fluent english required (TOEIC ≥ 750 or equivalent).
