Role Overview This role supports Quality Control raw materials activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. The position focuses on delivering accurate, compliant analytical work to agreed timelines, while maintaining high quality standards and supporting team performance. The role holder will manage their own workload with guidance from senior staff and contribute to continuous improvement and colleague development. Key Responsibilities • Perform and document raw material testing in line with GMP and approved procedures., • Review, enter and verify analytical data generated by self and others, ensuring data integrity., • Comply with all site safety, quality and environmental requirements., • Identify and support improvements in GMP compliance, laboratory efficiency and safe working practices., • Maintain controlled documentation, including raw material specifications and assay records., • Prepare and issue raw material release documentation for audits and stakeholder requests., • Provide supplier certification and supporting quality documentation when required., • Own the raw material specification release process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness., • Support retain sample reviews and scheduled audits., • Plan and manage personal workload, escalating risks or delays to QC leadership., • Support daily coordination activities within the raw materials team when required. Skills & Experience • Adaptable, proactive and able to manage changing priorities., • Willing to support a range of laboratory and quality activities., • Working knowledge of chemical and/or biochemical analytical techniques., • Strong data recording, documentation and quality record management skills., • Consistently delivers high-quality work to agreed timelines., • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team., • Capable of reviewing others’ work to ensure quality standards are met., • Maintains confidentiality and acts with professionalism at all times., • Supportive team member, contributing to training and development of junior colleagues. Education • BSc or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry or a related discipline preferred.
