Job Summary • Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance., • Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team, to identify and understand causes of equipment wear and underperformance., • Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues minimise disruption. Duties • Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures., • Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance [PPMs], and responding to unplanned breakdowns within the stipulated time frames., • Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns – with a right first-time outlook., • Maintain manual and electronic record systems., • Ensure breakdown repairs are validated by engineering supervision and production team., • Maintain a safe and tidy workshop. Ensure parts are booked out correctly to help control stock levels in stores., • Participate in emergency call out arrangements and provide cover where necessary during sickness absence periods.
