We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation operating within the automotive sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful system and process improvement initiatives, supporting business-critical projects and delivering change that enhances efficiency, usability, and compliance across the organisation. The Role As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting multiple departments by coordinating system solution activities across the full project lifecycle. You will play a key role in delivering system upgrades and enhancements on time and within budget, while ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements. You will take ownership of smaller projects end-to-end and lead workstreams on larger programmes, collaborating with stakeholders, external suppliers, and technical teams to ensure requirements are captured, managed, and delivered effectively. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyse, and define business requirements for core systems., • Elicit requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder engagement., • Produce high-quality documentation including business cases, project plans, user stories, and process flows (BPMN)., • Manage change requests from initiation through to implementation, ensuring timely delivery., • Liaise between business users, external suppliers, and internal technical teams., • Identify and recommend process improvements and efficiencies., • Support test planning, carry out functional testing, and assist with UAT., • Manage defects, risks, and issues, ensuring appropriate reporting and resolution., • Provide regular reporting on project and change request progress using tools such as Jira x-ray and Visio. Skills & Experience • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques., • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within financial services, automotive, or consultancy environments., • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences., • Strong organisational and planning skills, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously., • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong documentation skills., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, Jira, Jira x-ray, and familiarity with document management systems and workflows.
