Duties and Responsibilities: • Install, service, maintain, and repair domestic gas boilers, central heating systems, and gas appliances., • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to heating and hot water systems., • Conduct annual gas safety inspections and issue the appropriate certification in accordance with current regulations., • Undertake both planned preventative maintenance and responsive repair works., • Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with current Gas Safe regulations, health and safety legislation, and company standards., • Complete job sheets, service reports, and all associated documentation accurately and in a timely manner., • Deliver a professional, reliable, and customer-focused service at all times., • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota as required., • Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and serviceable condition., • Identify and report any additional repair or maintenance requirements to the appropriate manager. Skills, Qualifications and Experience: • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills., • Good understanding of domestic heating systems, boilers, and associated controls., • Excellent communication and customer service skills., • Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively, and work collaboratively as part of a team., • Good organisational skills with the ability to complete accurate records and documentation., • Valid Gas Safe registration., • Current ACS gas qualifications., • Proven relevant experience., • Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
