Youll work across Portsmouth County Council sites including offices, schools, libraries, and adult care facilities, delivering planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and hot/cold water systems Diagnose faults and carry out remedial work Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota Ensure safe working practices and liaise with site staff Escalate issues and complete electronic documentation Essential Qualifications & Skills: NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical discipline or equivalent Commercial/Domestic Gas Certifications (e.g. CCN1, CODNCCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, TPCP1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 and CORT1.)
