Import Logistics Operator\n\nSea & Road Freight Forwarder\n\nLiverpool City Centre (Hybrid Working) \n\n£26,000 - £34,000 DOE + Bonus & Dividend Scheme \n\nMonday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm \n\nAn employee-owned, well-established freight forwarding business is looking to recruit an Import Logistics Operator to join its growing Liverpool team.\n\nBased in the prestigious Cotton Exchange, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced import professional who enjoys managing shipments from start to finish and wants to be part of a collaborative, supportive team.\n\nThe business operates across multimodal freight forwarding, handling ocean, road and air freight movements worldwide. The role will primarily focus on import sea freight, with opportunities to gain exposure to road freight operations.\n\nAs an Import Logistics Operator, you will take ownership of shipments throughout the full import process, ensuring customers receive a high level of service from booking through to final delivery.\n\nThe Benefits; \n\nSalary: £26,000 - £34,000 depending on experience\nHybrid working (2 days from home)\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\nAdditional day off for your birthday\nEmployer pension contribution\nAnnual employee owner dividend bonus payment\nQuarterly branch incentive bonus scheme based on company performance\nThe Candidate;\n\nPrevious freight forwarding or logistics operations experience\nStrong import sea freight knowledge\nExperience managing shipments from start to finish\nGood understanding of Incoterms is desirable\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail\nThe ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously\nMulti-modal experience, ideally sea & road freight\nGood organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads\nStrong customer service skills\nDuties and Responsibilities;\n\nManaging import sea freight shipments from start to finish\nCoordinating FCL and deep-sea import movements\nLiaising with overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers and customers\nMonitoring shipment progress and providing regular updates\nArranging transport and delivery requirements\nHandling documentation and ensuring compliance with Incoterms\nManaging customer queries and resolving operational issues\nWorking closely with third-party customs providers\nSupporting road freight operations when required\nIf you have Freight Forwarding / Import Experience and would like to be considered for this opportunity, please apply via the link.\n\nAt Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and collaboration.
