Residential Support Worker (8 roles available) \n Role overview \n Location: Burton Latimer \n Contract: Temporary to permanent \n Salary: £13.00 PH \n Rota Pattern: Rolling 2 weekly pattern, week 1- Monday, Tuesday, Saturday Sunday,- week 2 Tuesday Wednesday Thursday, all 0800-2030 (may vary to meet contractual hours) \n Essentials: Driver, must be willing to full engage at al times. Energetic and have good experience with HIGH challenging behaviours \n You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and development of the Children in our care. Your responsibilities will include: \n\n • Providing Personalized Care: Offering individualised care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.\n, • Promoting Independence: Encouraging and facilitating the development of life skills and independence among residents.\n, • Creating a Safe Environment: Maintaining a safe and clean-living environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.\n, • Implementing Care Plans: Collaborating with the care team to implement and monitor individual care plans.\n, • Supporting Educational Goals: Assisting young people in accessing educational opportunities and supporting their learning and development.\n, • Building Positive Relationships: Establishing and maintaining positive and respectful relationships with children, their families, and external professionals.\n, • Documentation: Keeping accurate records and recording any incidents, following company policies.\n, • Crisis Intervention: Responding to crisis situations calmly and effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff.\n\n Qualifications and Experience \n\n • Experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities is preferred.\n, • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.\n, • Compassion, patience, and empathy.\n, • Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends.\n
