    Who are we? We are Leo’s Columbia Road, a decadent new sandwich shop on Columbia Road. We operate weekends only. The role We are seeking a reliable, driven and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team on a part time basis (Weekend only). As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting in food preparation, maintaining high standards of health & safety and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for the restaurant and culinary industry as well as those that enjoy working in a fast paced environment striving to create high quality food in a takeaway market setting (located on the world famous Columbia Road during the weekly Flower Market). This is also a role where we would be open to developing your knowledge of the operations with a view to take on more responsibility as we grow. Responsibilities include • Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients for cooking., • Support chef in the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workstations and overall kitchen environment., • Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, including proper storage and handling of ingredients., • Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain a hygienic environment., • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods., • Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food health & safety practices. Requirements • Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous but not essential., • A keen interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn from experienced cooks., • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is preferred., • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks., • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.     We are a busy Central London based bar group. We are looking for a creative, proactive intern to support a series of short-term hospitality and event projects, including themed pop-ups (such as a Mediterranean Lemon Festival), wine bar concepts, and experiential brand collaborations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about design, AI tools, interiors, events, and marketing, who enjoys turning ideas into visual concepts quickly. You’ll work closely with the founder on concept creation, visuals, and presentation materials, helping bring hospitality ideas to life.
